Notable clients include leading developers St George PLC, Berkeley Homes, Great Portland Estates, Shanly Homes and St James, as well as many smaller building companies and individual investors. New i.d input has contributed to their clients achieving numerous property sales and lettings. Never resting on their laurels and always looking for new ways to make the fitting out of investment property a painless
experience, New i.d can now offer three fixed furnishing packages, very competitively priced, that comprise the main items of furniture required to let a property out, and can be delivered at short notice.

Case Study: Hillside Mansions, Merry Hill Road, Bushey, Herts Shanly Homes’ unique development amongst the leafy countryside of Hertfordshire, consists of twenty-one exquisitely refurbished two and three bedroom apartments, with many original features retained and restored, on a landscaped site steeped in history, being the home of Sir William Barclay Peat, whose family founded Barclays Bank and, latterly, Hillside Studios which produced many television and radio programmes of the day. New i.d was commissioned to design and fit out the show home, a 2-bed, 2-bath apartment with large living/dining area.

The brief required flooring, window trimmings, furniture, wall coverings; both wallpaper and paint, pictures and mirrors. The target market would mainly be buying to live in; so all treatments would be of the highest quality, with some items designed specifically for this development. New i.d also designed the lobby area, the theme reflecting the old studios, with furniture uniquely designed to enhance
the original features and large monotone prints referring to the building’s previous usage. Elizabeth Godwin, Sales Manager of Shanly Homes says:

“We have a good working relationship with New i.d, this is the first time I have worked with New i.d and I have to say how pleased I am with the service provided and the end product. From our first meeting with the design team, they generated great enthusiasm. We spent a lot of time talking about our requirements and clearly they had done their homework. The designers had visited site, walked the
development to really get a feel for the project, and then focussed on what was important, producing a beautiful scheme really utilising the space available. This was not an easy scheme and nothing was too much trouble for New i.d. It was very demanding and time consuming but it was well worth it, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with New i.d and I am really looking forward to working together on our next scheme”.
