Newly-weds, Aaron and Donna Knighton have been able to start married life as home owners after purchasing a new house on Westleigh Homes Hatton Grange development in Peterborough. Using the new Help to Buy scheme the couple, who have two children aged four and 10 months, purchased a two bedroom house just around the corner from where they had been previously renting.
Warehouse Operative, Aaron, 24, said: “Before the Help to Buy scheme we thought that we would have no chance of owning a family home and we also didn’t want to move far from the area. However, everything seemed to fall into place over the summer when the Help to Buy scheme became available on Westleigh’s new development and we viewed a two bedroom house that was just perfect for what we wanted.”
