Barratt Homes teams up with Sky to offer Salters Park residents free premium TV and broadband

Salters Park, on the outskirts of West Bromwich, comprises 61 new properties

Barratt Homes is working in partnership with Sky to offer residents free premium TV and broadband services at a new development in the West Midlands. Salters Park, on the outskirts of West Bromwich, comprises 61 new properties, varying from one-bedroom coach houses to four-bedroom detached family homes.

As part of their purchase, new home buyers at Salters Park are being offered a year’s free subscription to Sky TV and access to Sky Broadband Lite, with services available to them from the day they move into the property.

Angela Nurse, Sales Manager at Barratt Homes, comments: “Access to TV and broadband is one of the first things people think about when moving into a new home. The Sky offer has been very well received by purchasers and it is this kind of added value that provides an extra incentive to buy.

“The partnership has proved remarkably straightforward, with our Sky account manager handling the whole process, from initial survey and planning, through to installation and ongoing maintenance. We will definitely be looking to roll out similar offers with future developments.”

According to Paul Dickinson, Director of Sky Homes, the partnership with Barratt Homes reflects a growing trend amongst all new home purchasers: “Without doubt, TV and broadband services have become more and more central to modern living and are now considered essential, not just desirable.  Just as with other essential services and utilities, new home owners need immediate access as soon as they move in.

“By working with Barratt Homes at Salters Park from the planning stages of the development through to move-in, we have been able to ensure that installation has been hassle free, and that residents can fully enjoy their new home from day one.”
