PegasusLife has won a prestigious award at the 2016 Housing Design Awards for its development, Hampstead Green Place in North London. The HAPPI awards champion developments that offer excellence in housing for older people and reflect the recommendations of the Housing Our Ageing Population Panel for Innovation.

Designed by architects Duggan Morris, Hampstead Green Place is located just a few metres away from Hampstead Heath and South End Road. With a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments, social spaces including a gym, lounge and treatment rooms as well as a cafe open to the public. Hampstead Green Place has been carefully designed as an exemplar of the HAPPI principles.

“Since our inception, PegasusLife has embraced the ‘HAPPI’ design principles like no other private sector developer. We are delighted that our focus on producing well designed apartments with a great service offer, specifically for those aged 55 and over, continues to be recognised. Howard Phillips, CEO, PegasusLife.

Hampstead Green Place is due to complete in early 2018. The collection of 59 apartments, most of which will enjoy a dual aspect view over the shared gardens and London’s skyline, was one of six PegasusLife developments shortlisted in the Project Schemes section of the Housing Design Awards.

The Company has previously won HAPPI awards for its developments in Tetbury and Cheltenham.
