Origin launches aluminium window range

The Origin Window, solely manufactured in the UK, offers a wide range of colours

A new range of aluminium windows has been launched by Origin, the leading UK manufacturer of bespoke aluminium bi-folding doors, offering sleek, premium quality and modern designs to homeowners and interior designers.

The Origin Window, solely manufactured in the UK, offers a wide range of colours, from bright primary shades and candy pastels to deeper earthy tones, woodgrain effects and traditional black, white or grey RAL colours.

Due to the bespoke nature of Origin’s window, the interior and exterior frames can be any combination of different colours. So whilst the outside of the window can match the external fixtures and fittings of the house, the interior frame can be a different colour to match the room’s decor. With so many fantastic looking options, the view from your window has just got a whole lot more colourful.

Origin’s aluminium flush casement and fixed frame window is a perfect match for any contemporary design, but also an ideal replacement for windows in a period property. The aluminium frames offer slim sightlines creating unrestricted views, along with the convenience of low maintenance, due to no rusting or warping of the frames. The Origin Window also provides excellent security through its ‘Secured by Design’ Yale locking system with night vent option, and A-rated thermal performance.

Neil Ginger, CEO of Origin, says: “A home is a personal statement so people put a great deal of thought into choosing their perfect interior. Our new window frame designs will inspire homeowners to think more creatively and integrate the frames to match the style of their home. The Origin Window is designed and manufactured in the UK, so suitable for all window types, whether it be fixed, side or top hung, dummy sash and gable configurations, giving homeowners the choice they so often seek.”

The importance of a view should not be overlooked.  In fact a recent survey conducted by Origin found that over half of homeowners feel their favourite room in the home is the one with the best view. Four in ten residents admitted to often taking a moment or two to gaze out of the window at their surroundings, and 87.5 per cent  of homeowners believe that a garden view can add up to £15,000 onto the value of the home.
