New striking shower temple from Belle Epoque brand, Arcade

Unique freestanding shower temple is Arcade’s most timeless product

A new range of bathroom pieces with a unique Belle Époque appearance – designed to bridge the gap between today’s modern minimalist and yesterday’s period pieces. A truly timeless brand set to provide the ultimate in luxury for any traditional or contemporary setting. Arcade includes beautiful ceramic sanitary ware, free-standing baths and stunning showering masterpieces. Every piece is hand finished with exceptional care using the finest materials and manufacturing process. A nickel finish is used throughout all brassware, fittings and accessories within the Arcade range, completing the luxury concept and setting the range apart, as the most acclaimed in bathroom styling.

Although the Piccadilly shower temple is true to historical detail, it is technically advanced with air boost shower roses that mix water with air to give an invigorating spray without waste. The stunning shower tower offers overhead showering, a hand hose and mist bars all with a nickel finish is the perfect product if you are looking for something exceptional for your home. The package includes a 1000mm stone resin tray with traditional legs and high flow waste, an Avon exposed thermostatic shower valve with riser which features a fixed showerhead, handset, mist bar and soap basket and a hinged door enclosure which features 8mm safety glass with Easy Clean coating.

All metal parts are hand finished in nickel, using Arcade’s own PVD Nickel process which gives a high quality, extremely durable result hence adding value to the product. Traditional electroplating of brass, nickel, and gold finishes requires a clear coat that can degrade with time and can easily tarnish or corrode with cleaning. PVD requires no clear top coats that will fade or dull also with the additional benefit of being environmentally friendly. It is four times harder than chrome which makes it corrosion and scratch resistant. All metal parts on the Piccadilly Temple are initially dipped in a nickel plating bath to establish a first layer of protection. Chrome plating follows and then a final coat of nickel.

The Piccadilly Shower Temple measures 2250mm high by 1000mm wide is suitable for use with water systems of pressure between 3 and 5 bar, also comes with a modern thermostatic valve – ensuring water is always delivered at a safe temperature.

“The Arcade brand captures the essence of both modern and traditional – a timeless brand. We believe we have achieved something special that cannot be placed in to either category.  It is iconic.” says Faye Rainey, Brands Development and Marketing Manager and Product Development Manager.
