Gorenje, the Slovenian manufacturer famed for its creative and inspirational appliances, has been shortlisted in this year’s House Beautiful Awards for its heat pump tumble dryer, the D9665E.
The House Beautiful Awards set out to reward excellence in the homes and interiors market with over 22 categories, and it is now in its 10th year. The innovative Gorenje heat pump tumble dryer has been selected as a shortlisted product in the Best White Goods category. The awards ceremony will be held at London’s Science Museum on Thursday 24th October 2013, where the winners will be revealed.
The Gorenje D9665E tumble dryer is distinguished by its innovative technology, with a superb ‘A+’ energy rating achieved through a pioneering heat pump, resulting in a 40 per cent energy reduction when compared to a standard ‘A’ rated dryer.
A heat pump condenser tumble dryer works at lower temperatures than standard models, taking better care of clothes. This is further facilitated by Gorenje’s unique TwinAir blowing system that introduces warm dry air into the drum through two air vents as the drum tumbles in both directions. Drying is more efficient, as the wash load is evenly distributed in the drum throughout the drying process, keeping the garments tangled and twisted free.
