Six hundred would-be home buyers attended the launch of the brand new Ledsham Garden Village in Little Sutton recently, eager to stake their claim on a new Redrow home.

Undeterred by reports of uncertainty in the housing market following the Brexit vote a day earlier, home buyers snapped up seven of the new build properties in the first phase of the Cheshire development, with seven more securing priority over their chosen plot once released, through the Early Bird scheme.

Visitors were wowed by the collection of five brand new show homes, showcasing the range of properties in the sought-after Heritage Collection, that are now open in two neighbouring developments at Ledsham Garden Village; Oaklands and Sycamore Green.

Oaklands features the Letchworth three-bedroom show home which offers features often reserved for larger homes, such as the master bedroom en-suite. Two four-bedroom homes, the Cambridge and the Windsor, demonstrate open plan spaces that are so popular for contemporary family living.

Two new premium four-bedroom show homes, the Welwyn and the Henley; one of Redrow’s most popular styles, have opened to view at Sycamore Green.

With a design concept of `something old, something new’, all of the properties across Redrow’s Heritage Collection seek to combine the perfect mix of traditional craftsmanship with architecture inspired from the 1930s, resulting in homes that deliver fine 21st century living, while capturing the great British style.
Jason Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “The hundreds of potential buyers who came along to view our show homes in just two days, and the reservations we have already taken, provide evidence that there will always be a demand for a high quality housing.

“We have had wholly positive feedback over the weekend. Visitors loved the show homes, the range of properties on offer and the impressive entrance to the development.”

A total of 170 properties will make up the first phase of Ledsham Garden Village, 43 of which will be affordable homes. Each will offer individual design touches, featuring generously proportioned bright, airy open plan living and contemporary interiors to create real character.

The impressive new development, set to cover 105 hectares to the north of Ledsham Road, will eventually become a sustainable new community of up to 2,000 homes.

Jason Newton added: “There is strong demand from local home buyers who want to be a part of the new community at Ledsham Garden Village. With homes that will appeal to all types of buyer, set among an abundance of green spaces and with the convenience of a strong transport network to both Liverpool and Chester, it offers a complete lifestyle.”
