Häfele Enjoys Record Success at KBB 2018

Furniture fittings and architectural hardware specialist Häfele is reporting its most successful year to date at KBB, the UK’s leading trade fair for kitchen and bathroom design.

During the four day event, which took place from March 4th-7th at the Birmingham NEC, hundreds of visitors attended the company’s two-storey stand to take a hands-on look at the latest exciting innovations in kitchen functionality and design. Visitor figures from the stand demonstrate record interest this year, with over 700 pieces of Häfele literature requested and 181 new customer visits organised on the stand during the course of the event.

The company showcased a diverse mix of industry-leading designs from Häfele-manufactured brands, as well as its trusted partners Smeg, Grohe, GRASS and Vauth Sagel.

Product highlights included Häfele’s stand-out range of statement pendant lighting; a new range of six beautifully-crafted pendant styles, inspired by both vintage and ultra-modern designs, and the innovative Axilo plinth adjusting fitting system, exclusive to Häfele, which has been specially designed to enable perfect plinth alignment easily and comfortably.

Häfele stand partners Vauth Sagel and GRASS also displayed a wealth of must- see products, including the former’s show-stopping Cornerstone Maxx, with its beautiful new lava grey finish and planero drawer design, and the latter’s award winning Nova Pro Scala – a high quality and expertly designed movement system that offers a harmonious, transitional style and gives maximum scope for creativity.

As well as the stand-out products on display, the Häfele stand offered a range of exciting additions: The interactive Loox lighting room, which allowed visitors to experience the simple technology and stunning effect of Loox lighting for themselves, was particularly popular and led to over 120 requests for Loox information.  The Häfele Pitstop, supported by Smeg, included a café and seating area where visitors could relax with refreshments and view an assortment of Smeg products, including Smeg fab fridge freezer, freestanding dishwasher and stand mixer.

Visitors to the stand even got the chance to take part in a competition to win a luxury spa break for two, by having their photo taken in Häfele’s #LooxAtMe frame and sharing it on social media.
