Marley Alutec Grows Again with New Staff

Bill Johnson has recently been appointed Area Sales Manager.

In a move that underlines the company’s commitment to growth, Marley Alutec is delighted to announce the appointments of Maxine Gallager as Internal Sales Support, Bill Johnson as Area Sales Manager (pictured) and Louise Stewart-Young as Marketing Communications Manager.

The new appointments are a reflection of the sustained growth the company has achieved over the last twelve months, which has seen the launch of a newly updated website including access to industry-leading BIM files and a landmark agreement with Sheffield Council to provide eaves and rainwater systems for the largest roofing project in the UK.

Joining the company as sales administration, Maxine Gallagher will oversee the vital support of the area sales team. Having held a similar role in her most recent position at Mastergrave Ltd and with a background in management, she’ll help ensure the continued satisfaction of Marley Alutec customers.

Speaking on her appointment, Maxine commented: ‘I am very pleased to become a part of a friendly and outgoing team and look forward to working in this new capacity. Throughout my career the accuracy and efficiency of my work has facilitated sales teams in a range of industries. I will bring these skills into Marley Alutec and believe together we’ll carry on seeing growth.’

Bill Johnson has been brought on-board as Area Sales Manager and will oversee Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, the Midlands and North Wales. For the best part of a decade Bill has worked in a broad range of head office and field based roles for Wolseley. In his new position he will continue to maintain positive relations between the company and merchants, contractors and architects.

Speaking on his appointment, Bill commented: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work for Marley Alutec and I am looking forward to bringing my enthusiasm and passion to this new role. Its range of high-quality rainwater products and eaves solutions are well regarded in the industry and I hope to build on this strong reputation.”

Coming on board as Marketing Communications Manager, Louise Stewart-Young will be responsible for communications at Marley Alutec, spreading the company’s message to a broader audience. A well-versed public relations practitioner, Louise has held several senior communication roles in her career across a number of industries – Louise is working as a maternity cover for Ivona Nicol.

Commenting on her new challenge, Louise said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a company going from strength to strength. It is imperative that Marley Alutec maintains strong lines of communications with merchants, trade press and its wide base of customers and I’m confident that this will be achieved during my tenure.”
